We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Seasonal Grounds Trimmer to help maintain the beautiful appearance of a local cemetery in Lancaster. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in keeping grounds clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

• Trim grass around headstones, monuments, fences, trees, and other landscaped areas using string trimmers and other landscaping equipment.
• Maintain the overall appearance of cemetery grounds.
• Remove weeds, debris, and other unwanted vegetation.
• Assist with general grounds maintenance as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures while operating equipment.
• Work respectfully in a cemetery environment.

Qualifications

• Previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely operate a string trimmer and other basic landscaping equipment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including walking, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance are required.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
